Verse 13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his Holy Ones. There will be partaking in the suffering for Christ. There are others around that go through the same and they are encouraging. If they aren't then they need to be left alone. They are not growing in grace. They are growing in the grave. That means they want to stay dead. They need to be in fellowship with Jesus.

Verse 10 "On that day," declares the LORD, "a cry will go up from the Fish Gate, wailing from the New Quarter, and a loud crash from the hills. This is a good reminder for me to not make business an idol. I must hold the wealth of the world loosely in the palms of my hand- as one of my favorite bands sang (Hangnail). Verse 2 We sent Timothy, who is our brother and God's fellow worker in spreading the Gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. There will be trials in life. There will be people who tempt us to go down like they are miserable in sin. God brings people to us to encourage us and not to discourage us. Verse 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. Even when life looks unfruitful, I still honor God. I am saved and that's all that matters. His joy is my strength. It isn't about me having everything. He has to do what He has to do for the ones that aren't saved yet. He will make my feet, in due time, like the feet of a deer. He will move me when it is time.

Verse 20 But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him. I have said a lot and probably things I should have never said. The best thing is to be busy serving the Lord and be silent. Read, learn, obey, and share, but really be silent mostly. God is doing the judging. I need to rest in the Lord. He sees it all and it's my job just to praise Him and help others. He is real. He is watching it all. He is patient and kind.

Verse 14-15 For you, brothers, became imitators of God's churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own countrymen the same things those churches suffered from the Jews, who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men. There are wolves in the church too and you know them because they are violent. They love to make people suffer.

Verse 5 "Look at the nations and watch- and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if I told you. Because there was a mix of evil with the followers of God, He was preparing for the Babylonians to come and attack. Don't worry the enemy will be in trouble too. Everyone will bow down before God whether they want God or not.

Verse 6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. You still walked with the Lord dispute the suffering. That's how it should be. If the root was never there, then that's why people walk away and sink in sand. Verse 11 The day for building your walls will come, the day for extending your boundaries. God has a divine order, but He doesn't force us to stay safe and blessed. We do things to ourselves disobediently. We are the only ones to blame. We need to go tell Jesus sorry if we really are and get saved and/or back in fellowship with Him.
