When we don't repent, we come to the end of ourselves literally. God eliminated them because of their wickedness. He took them out of their misery. Sin is gross. It's contagious. It's a spiritual plague. The only vaccine that can help is being in the Word, but first having Jesus be our substitute and saying yes I do need you as my Savior and Lord. I do believe you died for my sins, were buried, and you rose.
