It was talking about leadership more so above this verse. Then it says to work for the Lord and not man. Man's ways are bent. We can't ever please each other fully. We disappoint. We are to put our hope in God. We let each other down and God won't let us down. Don't worry about the ones hurting us, God will take care of them. God doesn't play favorites, so no need to think He will let things slide because of how we grew up etc. Take responsibility and GROW UP and obey God.
