Verse 13 By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose. We are saved by faith, not by works. The old one was a lot of work. We can work out our salvation after we accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord though. We can please God by living a blessed life of obedience as much as we can. We aren't saved by doing those things though. We all can't do everything perfe

Verse 22 the Lord answered, "Listen to them and give them a king." Then Samuel said to the men of Israel, "Everyone go back to his town." God gives us what we want if we are disobedient. He is a gentleman and won't force us to make Him our King. It won't be all cracked up what we think it will be like though. There is a price to putting our trust in people.

Verse 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. We don't need priests anymore. If so, they'd be sacrificing animals on the altar. Jesus wouldn't have came ever. There is only one high priest. Read why in the next verses.

Verse 10 While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the LORD thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites. Get back in fellowship with Jesus and got will subdue our enemies.

Verse 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Jesus is our Hope. Without Him, we'd be doomed.

Verse 7 "Now then, get a new cart ready, with two cows that have calved and have never been yoked. Hitch the cows to the cart, but take their calves away and pen them up. Take the ark of the LORD and put it on the cart, And in a chest beside it put the gold objects you are sending back to him as a guilt offering. Send it on its way... God has order. Christians get in trouble more because we know better. Everyone gets judged though by God. We all don't get away with anything.

Verse 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Yeah, it takes a while to understand we obey God and not man. That's always the right thing to do. When someone is pressuring us to sin, run from them! We have freedom, but when it is clearly sin, don't do it anymore. Learn the lesson and repent; say sorry to Jesus. It's time to grow up.

Verse 11 So they called together all the rulers of the Philistines and said, "Send the arc of the god of Israel away; let it go back to its own place, or it will kill us and our people." For death had filled the city with panic; God's hand was very heavy upon it. Don't mess with God's Word or people. Don't mess with anyone at all. Love our neighbors. Love our family. God really doesn't play favorites. We all are sinners and He isn't. He died for all of our sins. In this case

Verse 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. We need to constantly go say sorry to Jesus. We need to be like little children. None of us are exempt from this. It is mandatory to keep doing that. If we don't, then we backslide and get entangled in sin again and worse sin. We waste time in this life and it effects everyone negatively. We can confidently approach Jesus and say sorry

Verse 22 She said, "The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured." She went in labor early because of the stress. She couldn't enjoy her baby at that moment because she loved God so much and saw such tragedy. It's very sad when a woman of God or any woman has to deal with stress that didn't have to really happen because of disobedience around. The baby got neglected by his mother too. Verse 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief. They kept murmuring and discouraging each other. They didn't trust God. They'd rather sin. The Bible is super clear and we do need to make sure to stay in fellowship with Jesus. When we notice we are in unbelief, we need to repent quick or we will backslide and be back in bondage. It's not easy to get out of it. We listen to man and not God. It's very gross to be in this position. Stay listening t

Verse 11 And the LORD said to Samuel: "See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle. This something wasn't forewarned. They all knew better.

Verse 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. Jesus became like us, so that he can experience being tempted so he can help us and also to conquer death, so we never have to. He took our sins, we just need to accept what He did and agree we are sinner in need of Him to be our Savior and LORD.

Verse 33 Every one of you that I do not cut off from my altar will be spared only to blind your eyes with tears and to grieve your heart, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life. They were all disobedient. The father did not rebuke his sons and take care of the issue. Same thing happens when we know someone's doing something horrific and we don't do anything about it and we just continue letting them serve in the church or whatever ministry. It is very sad to s

Verse 16 Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief." She was pouring herself out to God in prayer. She was not whining to anyone.

Verse 6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." Jesus is God. Even the angels worship Him. That means we do too.
