1 Samuel 5 It Will Kill Us

Verse 11 So they called together all the rulers of the Philistines and said, "Send the arc of the god of Israel away; let it go back to its own place, or it will kill us and our people." For death had filled the city with panic; God's hand was very heavy upon it.

Don't mess with God's Word or people. Don't mess with anyone at all. Love our neighbors. Love our family. God really doesn't play favorites. We all are sinners and He isn't. He died for all of our sins. In this case from this chapter, something very holy was taken and back then the ark was from the Holy of Holies, so yeah, don't mess with that! Lucky them they didn't get zapped and drop dead by just touching it because they didn't know any better. I know better and I thank God doesn't zap me. He is patient and kind and full of mercy. The more I get to know him, the more I don't want to be bad. I want to please God.
