Verse 33

Every one of you that I do not cut off from my altar will be spared only to blind your eyes with tears and to grieve your heart, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life.

They were all disobedient. The father did not rebuke his sons and take care of the issue. Same thing happens when we know someone's doing something horrific and we don't do anything about it and we just continue letting them serve in the church or whatever ministry. It is very sad to see people die earlier than they're supposed to.
