Verse 10 Judah's leaders are like those who move boundary stones. I will pour out my wrath on them like a flood of water. When we listen to man and not God, we will be chastened like Judah. God will be patient with us to repent and admit our guilt. He waits for us to seek Him in our misery. Verse 9 Then the LORD said, "Call him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people, and I am not your God. What did they do that God said this about them? He gives answers. In verse 2, He says because the land is guilty of the vilest adultery in departing from the LORD. Sometimes things happen to us to get out attention back on Him. We are like dumb sheep and need redirected back into safety. Hence, why I read my Bible a lot.

Verse 17 "Therefore this is what the LORD says: "'Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, and your sons and daughters will fall by the sword. Your land will be measured and divided up, and you yourself will die in a pagan country. And Israel will certainly go into exile, away from their native land.'" They were told and the more they fought against the goad, they got an exact plan of what will happen to them and their loved ones since they didn't repent.

Verse 12 Do horses run on the rocky crags? Does one plow there with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness- What did these people do for God to say that to them? They didn't do anything about the injustice around. They lived comfortably. They kept sinning and trusting in this life.

Verse 24 But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! Do what's right in God's sight. Do not fear man or want his approval. Pleasing God is what matters.

Verse 9 "Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards, I struck them with blight and mildew. Locusts devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD. Verse 3 Do to walk together unless they have agreed to do so? It's true. God also stops things for me. I know He is the one who does it. See in this verse? Verse 6 When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it? Sometimes it's to chasten and sometimes it's just to protect me. I'm His daughter, so whatever happens it's to keep me growing closer to Him.

Verse 12 "But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy. You encouraged God's people to sin. You told them not to speak His Word or say His name. Now they aren't spiritually sober. You twist and make fun of His Word and the name of Jesus. It's so obvious you're out of fellowship with Jesus and you don't want to admit it. How long will you stay this way?

Verse 24 Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love. If we really love God then we wouldn't be fighting against the goad. We'd say yes because we know He loved us first and wants to keep us safe. If you don't feel that way and keep fighting God's Word, which is Jesus, then you'll need to get right with Him. Accept that He is your only Savior and Lord. Leave the old ways behind. You'll be doing this the rest of your life, fighting the giants within that t

Verse 19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.
