Verse 27 After the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the Lord.

We can displease God by the evil things we do. We know because God gave us a conscience. We know even more by reading His Word. We say sorry to Him and then others, so we are in fellowship again. We specifically say what we did if we want to be in fellowship with Him and others.
