Zechariah 12 Spirit of Grace

Verse 10 And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

The nation of Israel will realize they put Jesus on that cross. Just like we need to realize we did that too. If you don't want to obey God's Word then that's terrible for you. We have no choice if we want blessings from God. We have to have Jesus take our place to be right with God. That's just the way it is. You do have a choice though. Follow God or stay a child of the devil and be deceived. It's better to cry out to God because that is the right thing to do. It's not good to be bitter towards Him. He wants to give you grace and mercy and all those wonderful things that we do not deserve.
