Titus 3 Devoted to Good

Verse 14

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives.

This is at the end. The whole chapter is about teaching people to not use their time to slander others and be peaceful to all men. He was talking about not being our old selves because Jesus died for our sins and we are saved through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. He wants us to be careful to devote ourselves to good works. It is profitable for everyone. Then that's where he starts on nailing down about staying away from drama and division.
