Ruth 2 Good for You

Ruth 2:22 Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, "It will be good for you, my daughter, to go with his girls, because in someone else's field you might be harmed."

Naomi gave her good advice because she cared for her. She knew the men could be bad if she gleaned elsewhere. Just like when we glean from what people say, it could harm/distract us rather than bring us directly to Jesus. Remember the Book of Ruth started with a famine and how it is similar to the famine of God's Word currently? It all is connected.

What kind of advice are we giving people? Are we helping them come to Jesus or distracting/harming them more away from being saved? Are we harmed and distracted and don't even know it? Say sorry to Jesus and get back in fellowship with Him.
