Nehemiah 8 Joy of the Lord

Verse 10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

God was happy to see His people in the Word and ready to obey. We should move forward and not stay crying. Be sorry and then remember God forgave us and forgot the sin. We don't need to dwell on it because we are a new creation.
