Verse 15 Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.

The point of reading through our Bibles is to not let ourselves get to this point ever. When we backslide, we are asking for unnecessary trouble. Life is already hard, but we don't have to disobey God we reap what we have willingly sown. These people were in trouble because they were deep in spiritual prostitution and were warned already and didn't care. At the same time, they pretended they were honoring God.
