Verse 45 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessing in the last days.

It sounds like a prodigal pig story. Hosea was asked to go get his wife out of the pig sty. She wasn't looking for him. God loved us while we were still unrepentive sinners.

When we accept Jesus and go back to sin then we will be prodigal sons and daughters. We will tremble all the way back home. Home Sweet Blessed Home.
