Verses 19-23
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, ascensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Oh boy! Once we sin and don't immediately say sorry to Jesus and repent, we are in bondage to sin again. We are not called to that. It's so much better to be in fellowship with Jesus and having good fruits in our lives that benefit the entire body and those soon to be. I can easily get upset when there are bad fruit around. Then I need to remember I also do the same. That's why I stop, step back, and spend time with Jesus in this Book. It all makes sense again. I have to remember that I crucified my sinful nature.
