Ephesians 2 Great Love

Verse 4 But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made me alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved.

Because Jesus died for my sins, was buried, and rose, I have been made right with God. Jesus stands in my place, he is my advocate. I am free from the bondage of sin and paying the penalty for it, death. Death meaning the second death, hell. I was not created to go there, but sin. I am imperfect because I am not God. Even knowing I fail, Jesus still came and died and had that sin placed on Him. Thankfully He is God, so He defeated death! God always wins. Thank you Jesus!
