Verse 1 Again I looked and saw all the pressure that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed- and they had no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors- and they have no comforter.
See the word oppressed? See the word Comforter? See the word oppressors? See the word Comforter again? God works everything out for those who love Him. This is found in Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Jesus is our comforter. When we feel oppression that is because it is of demonic influence. We are to not oppress anyone in return because it is not of God. If we really love Him then we are safe. This is why I say stay in fellowship with Jesus and have a soft gentle heart and fear Him, so we can say sorry as soon as we miss the mark/sin. If we don't care about Jesus and what He says in the Bible then we can't expect safety in Him. We may feel safe in sin for a season, but in the end we will lose without Him for all eternity being separated in darkness. The Bible says in Mark 8:36 "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"
This chapter has some great advice if we just include Jesus in everything and don't stop forgetting to fight the flesh/giants within us. And remember it's good to say the name of Jesus because He is our Savior, Lord, and Comforter.
