Verse 33 The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept. As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you- O Absalom my son, my son!"
How sad to not have a good relationship with your own child. David loved him, but he was a rebellious son. He didn't walk with God, so there was enmity between them. When problems don't get fixed by leaders, then things get worse with the person. It gets real weird and ungodly.
