1 Samuel 17 David Heard It

Verse 23-24 As he was talking with them, Goliath, the Philistine champion from Gath, stepped out from his lines and shouted his usual defiance, and David heard it. When the Israelites saw the man, they all ran from him in great fear.


I'm reading David and Goliath right now. There will be times when I do get bullies barging in my face. I need to learn how to pray quick and do what is right in God's sight. I need to be like Jesus, so people can get sprinkled with His love. It is easy to get pulled down if I am not sober minded spiritually. Put on Jesus, take off the old woman. I see a lot of disorder from Saul and the enemy. I saw David and Jesse had order.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace- as in all the congregations of the Lord's people.
