1 Peter 3 Made Alive

Verse 18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,

Yup that's Good News, that He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (indeed) on the third day!

We all need Him. The chapter starts with marriage then talks about being in harmony with all and goes deep into that. Then he talks about suffering for doing good and not to worry about the killer/miserable people. He tells us how to handle them. Then he goes into talking about verse 18 and the Good News, he even speaks deeply about when Jesus was buried and went in to visit those who were in "prison". It's very important to be saved by accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord.
