Verse 7 These have come so that your faith- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire- may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

It's just what we go through like Jesus did, but in our way, not the same way He did by dying for us. We get lifted up by Jesus. He upholds us. We can't be held down. We can praise Him still. He gives us peace during these rough times. He prepares a table in front of our enemies. He reveals His power and is magnified through our trials. It's all pretty amazing.
