Verse 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

If we keep pretending to be in fellowship with Jesus and keep sinning like we do no wrong, then we are liars and Jesus is not really our Savior and Lord. Don't fool ourselves. We can't fool God.
