1 Corinthians 9 I Myself

"No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."-1 Corinthians 9:27

I don't expect the public to fund what I do as a hobby for the Lord. When we have jobs, that helps us fund these things. The church is to give out of their hearts to others. Unfortunately, they can't provide for everyone. The rich are rich and the poor are poor. It is that way for a reason. Either way, the Lord says his children do not have to beg for bread, they give and they give. He says we need not doubt. When we don't feel like we have enough, then it is basically time to rest and pray. It is a call to action. We need to spend time with Him. That is what I have experienced and learned through reading the Bible. Genesis 15 comes to mind because it is a song that I helped to write. We may preach to others through our music, but we also need to do as verse 27 says
