1 Corinthians 4 Men Ought To

These two verses popped out to me today:
1 Cor 4:1 So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God.
1 Cor 4:21 What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
They are the first and last verses of the chapter. I think it is pretty clear that we need to get back in fellowship and continue to do that. If not then we become carnal minded and need the rod of correction.
